Save the date for GivingTuesday!

November 18, 2025 • Amber Nepodal

This year, we invite you to join us on December 2nd for GivingTuesday. On the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, you can make an impact on our collective community.

The Austin Brass Band is a community-driven, British-style brass ensemble dedicated to bringing rich, vibrant brass music to Central Texas. As a volunteer organization, we rely on the generosity of supporters like you to keep our music alive and accessible.

This season, we’re aiming to raise $1,000 to cover essential operating costs; including rehearsal space rental, new music purchases, equipment repairs, and publicity efforts that help us reach a wider audience.

Your contribution, no matter the size, directly strengthens our band and helps us continue sharing this unique musical tradition with our community.

On GivingTuesday visit our profile at AmplifyATX.org to donate.

Check out our performance from October 20th

Our music director, John Caputo, was asked if he had ever wanted to mix two of his passions in life – music and table top gaming – together. This performance showcases John’s talents as a leader in both musical endeavors and being a dungeon master for Dungeon and Dragons sessions. He takes you on a story telling journey using the musical numbers the band plays as prompts and plot points. We had a wonderfully fun time watching this legend unfold in real time and join the characters in their saga.

First concert of the season was a success!
